A message from our founder

I know how tough it can be to heal and build a new life. When I escaped my trafficker, resources for survivors seemed scattered, disjointed and difficult to access. I had great support, but I lived in a small town and had a daughter to care for. I was determined to move forward, but I often wished I had more substantial programs and additional trained mentors to walk me through it.

In 2014, I was studying for my Master’s degree when I had an epiphany. If I can get a Master’s online, I can mentor survivors online.

From there, Elevate Academy was born. We have grown from the first 5 students to almost 900, and we offer our students immediate online access to desperately needed resources, regardless of who they are or where they live.
